Vanessa has been working with clay forever, starting at evening classes, studying ceramics at Bath University, teaching adults with learning difficulties as a pottery tutor, eventually ending up responsible for steering the good ship Pottery Parlour as well as Vanessa Conyers Ceramics. She likes river boating and playing the guitar, ideally at the same time.close
Lindsay studied textile print & design at York University and has facilitated education in many and varied settings. He’s worked in Steiner, State and Home Education, and within youth support and additional needs learning. He is a fantastic pottery teacher and a passionate artist.close
Hepzi keeps our social media updated with the latest from the Pottery Parlour and takes care of admin and bookings. She also works as a life model for local artists and is a busy mum of two young boys.close
Anna is a proper potter with serious skills. She began potting in Australia with a production training firmly based in the Japanese and Leach studio traditions and went on to train with John Leach back here at home, at Mulcheney pottery in Somerset. Anna holds a diploma in counselling and likes doing anything that involves splashing around in the sea.close
Hannah was our first ever apprentice and can now be found about the Parlour making lots of wonderful pots!close
Chunty is our pottery cat and is usually found perched on the highest shelf overlooking all the action!close
